What is the project about?

Dates and Location:

Spring 2021, Motycz Leśny, Poland

Topic of the Youth Exchange:

The goal of this Erasmus + project is to improve young people's competences in the field of language, culture, society, entrepreneurship, deepen knowledge on topics related to ecology and a healthy lifestyle, as well as to support intergenerational dialogue, develop creativity and promote international cooperation.

The need to implement these types of projects includes the problems that young people are currently facing: lack of planning skills leading to buying excess products that are being wasted; lack of knowledge about the use of natural ingredients that can replace unhealthy and often more expensive counterparts, bought every day in stores; low level of self-sufficiency; littering the planet through a non-ecological lifestyle.

We would like to help participants gain knowledge about nutrition, food preservation, meal preparation and selection of ingredients, and enable them to discover the use of everyday objects, which will lead to finding an effective way to save time, money, space and resources.

During our meeting in Poland, we will conduct various types of workshops related to ecology, zero waste and healthy lifestyle, such as: food preservation, planting vegetables, various uses of everyday objects, creating a shopping list. Other non-formal education methods we will use are: integration games, team building, intercultural communication workshop, reflection groups, theater workshops, LARP, presentation, discussion, meeting, evaluation.
